We are pleased to share with you that the non-governmental organization „Nova šansa u Novom” is celebrating its 15th birthday today. A decade and a half since its establishment and the same number of successful years for the young people of Herceg Novi who, thanks to the brave and persistent mothers who made it possible for them, found and took advantage of their chance in Nova šansa.
🍀 It enabled the spread of awareness in society about persons with disabilities (PWD).
🍀 Supported a project to help young people with disabilities in Novi
"Be a friend" is the name of one of the projects.
🍀 It moved slowly but decisively towards the inclusion of young people with disabilities in all spheres of life.
🍀 Techniques for processing recycled paper and making various objects - was one of the topics at the workshops with the aim of spreading awareness about the preservation of the natural environment.
🍀 The wide range of topics at the workshops significantly helped to bring young people together.
💫 The camaraderie developed, the youth socialized, and what is most important, smiles became a part of their lives. Smiles of satisfaction, because now they are walking independently through Herzegovinian high school students who volunteered also helped.
🍀 To the pride of all Novi residents, NGO „Nova šansa u Novom” was the first to open a digital printing shop in Montenegro, where PWDs work. Successful and dedicated with a smile. 👏👏👏
🍀 There were also prizes. Significant and deserved. The greatest reward is the satisfaction of young people with disabilities who, with New Chance, have started a safer future.
💥 And that's not all. A new chance will be given to young people who are over 27 years old. The project is being worked on under the auspices of the Municipality of Herceg-Novi.
🍀 The NGO „Nova šansa u Novom” is celebrating 15 years of work with pleasure and pride and is rushing towards new opportunities with sure steps, for all young people with disabilities. 💫💫💫
